The chemicals are easily sensed by termites / white ants, which makes them great for protection around treated locations. However, in the event the treated places aren’t completely covered, or if they later get compromised, then white ants can sense these breaks and once again access the house.

Bifenthrin is a commonly used chemical repellent, having a residual lifespan of as much as five years.

Non-Repelling Chemicals
