Real Estate Property Manager. Prior to the introduction I had used other companies who did not offer the same professional service I attained from these guys. No job was too small or too big and they were always contactable and were able to attend to the job quickly. The quality of their service and the work performed is second to none. I have used the company for my own family needs as well and I will never again use another company for my pest control needs.

I have been using this business for pest control for number of years after having a number of other pest control companies failing to ensure unwanted inserts and spiders were not around our place. They seem to have the environmental toxic free products and satisfy the pest problem and it seems to last the year. Highly recommend this business would not consider another pest business. Valued customer.

Termite Prevention & Treatment

Termite or white ant infestations are quite common in Australia. Termites are responsible for causing significant damage to many houses in The Ponds each year. That is why termite prevention and treatment is very important.

Removing & Managing Termites

Each situation is unique, and so there are different treatment options for specific situations. The two main strategies used are creating a termite barrier using specialised chemical treatments, and eradicating the termite colony entirely by baiting. To learn more about what these treatments cost, give us a call now.

In The Ponds, chemical treatments are the more traditionally applied management strategy to eradicate white ants. However, baiting and interception for colony eradication has its’ own benefits that should not be ignored.

It is crucial to have the termite situation examined by a professional pest controller to assess the damage and advise a suitable management plan.

If you believe that your house or building is under threat from insect invasion, don’t panic. Contact us to receive the advice of the most experienced termite prevention team covering the The Ponds area. Chemical Treatment for Termite Infestation

Repelling Chemicals

Repellent chemicals offer great defense against termites as they are easily identified and strongly avoided by them. Unfortunately however, if there is a gap in the chemical application, either due to being unable to access all areas, or if a treated area is later compromised, white ants may discover the gaps and gain entry.

Bifenthrin features a residual lifetime of up to five years and is the most commonly used chemical repellent on the market today.

Non-Repelling Chemicals

These chemicals aren’t detectable by the termites. Since they don’t avoid the chemical, they will go over the chemical and die as a result of coming into contact with it. They may also pass the chemical on to other colony members they come into contact with, thus creating a compounding result.

As termites are unable to detect these non-repellents, they identify no difference between areas that are treated and the ones that are not, so there is likely to be less ingress through gaps.

The most frequently used non repellent chemical is Fipronil, which features a lasting effect of up to eight years after treatment.

Great company, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and awesome results. Called Andrew and let him know what we were seeing. Andrew was wonderful, helped me determine what type of creepy crawlers we had in our home and was able to get someone out really quick. Adam came out to treat our apartment for cockroaches and from start to finish I was super impressed. Adam was friendly, answered all my questions, and gave me some insight and tips to help with our problem. They are a reliable and effective company who I won't hesitate to call again! Highly recommend.

Various Termite Baiting Systems

Above Ground Systems are commonly used to erradicate termites from the dwelling, by placing bait stations directly on termite activity to encourage the pests to feed on the bait as opposed to the timber. Also, when these termites return to the colony, they transfer the bait to other colony members, thus causing a flow on result.

In this fashion, the colony can be eliminated even when the position of the colony is unknown. The stations should be assessed and monitored regularly in case the situation should call for stations to be rebaited, the addition of more bait stations, or if they should be moved to another location.

In Ground Systems are utilised in a similar manner, however they are often installed around properties where there is currently no obvious activity, to assist in early discivery of white ants. These systems are particularly useful when the layout of a building will make it challenging to have effective perimeter barriers, since it is then possible to identify and intercept white ants before they breach the perimeter.

Benefits Of Termite Baiting Systems

  • Flexible protection system
  • Impervious to weather conditions
  • Safe for the kids and pets
  • Environmentally friendly

Ben is an absolute gentleman. Extremely polite and courteous and was very thorough in his work. He even took the time to explain different aspects of his job and the various insects and how he gets rid of them. Absolute champion. Hoping this will be the start of a long relationship with Andrew and his team. Cheers.

Extremely happy with the services provided, we had a very knowledgeable technician Sean came to attend to the possum issue in our townhouse, Sean found the openings where the possums came in on the roof right away and patched them up. When the previous pest control company failed to do. But being a two level building with a separated garage roof, it was very difficult to trap the possums still inside, but Andrew the boss and Sean kept trying and finally got the problem all solved. Friendly to talk to and easy to work with so Highly recommended.

I had Benjamin come to our place on Monday because I was worried we had a spider problem. He identified a major funnel web spider situation. Benjamin was so thorough and considerate because I was very scared having three small children. He went above and beyond to make sure he spent as much time as needed to treat every single spider hole in our yard. He has arranged to come back in 2 weeks time just to make sure we are all safe for the Christmas period. So grateful for all his help. Highly recommend!
